about

"Peaches, three" is the starting point of this trilogy of albums since he came across my mind more than 6 years ago; though is actually the first one to be released is not the first of the three works to be recorded and produced; seems that it have preferred yellowing like the memories contained in an old photo do.
In the meantime that I was realizing in a psycho-existential process of extreme synthesis his thin and complex cosmology, "Stella Maris", the principle of Soledad, emerged. During the recording sessions of that tune, which I initially wanted to include in "Musiche dal cassetto" (along with other acoustic ideas to make a sort of anthological collection of very personal acoustic compositions), I decided to take advantage of the studio's set up, recording and immortalizing acoustic improvisations that, at that time, I could clearly feel flowing in my body and vibrating on my skin. I decided to improvise each session starting from a particular and different tuning, imagining string by string, note by note, how I wanted to sound the opening harmony.
And so the four songs composed starting from this idea are announced by the chord from which they were born.
In one specific composition that particular moment was sealed by the sung of a bird, that alighted near the window of the room where I recorded the entire basic session for the six songs of the album; the little bird chirped just during the break between the first and the second chord introduced by Lian.
I immediately imagined to recall the piece "Lian", dedicating it to a friend of mine, because that intro seems to perfectly describe two friends who sit opposite each other to talk in an eternal moment of absolute grace.

I could cite many other anecdotes about those recordings but I prefer to investigate a curious, perhaps sometimes neglected aspect of the creative process:
And that is, that it branches off in rather astonishing directions, revealing on the whole that it retains and produces a stunning and perfect texture.

about

V. L. Yustke Italy

When I first met Y I was following a chemistry lesson at University. Little by little I realized there is a kind of affinity between us, but different from the usual.
Somehow he is able to turn some of my blind spots, but on the other side seems like he could express himself only through my presence.
Maybe is this balance that makes special everything about us.
We are each other counterpoint.
